SUBJECT: ACCEPTANCE OF SUGGESTED MODIFICATIONS
Dear Deborah:
On June 11, 1996 the Carlsbad City Council conducted a public hearing and accepted the
suggested modifications for Local Coastal Program Amendment 1 -96C (Carlsbad Ranch) and 2-
95 (Development Agreements Chapter). The modifications for the Development Agreement
Chapter took longer to process as the City was required to do a follow-up zone code amendment.
This required a hearing before the Planning Commission and City Council.
Enclosed is a copy of the necessary documents evidencing the City’s acceptance of the suggested
modifications for both Local Coastal Program Amendments. I will send you a final copy of the
signed resolution and ordinance as soon as it is available.
