Dear Mr. Damm:
As you know, Aviara Land Associates was granted a one month postponement at
the July 14, 1994 Coastal Commission hearing in order for the City of Carlsbad to
coordinate with your staff and the resource agencies.
Although I recognize that Staff discussions are still on-going, we maintain our desire to be scheduled at the August Coastal Commission hearing in Long Beach. It is
my understanding that the City of Carlsbad is also making a similar request for their
LCP Amendment application to be heard on that same date.
Please confirm that our item will be agendized for August, 1994.
In the meantime, I believe it would be beneficial for your staff, the City of
Carlsbad and Aviara to meet the week of July 25 to summarize and conclude for the
August Commission meeting. Please let me know your availability to meet.
