Dear Deborah:
Thank you for meeting with me August 2 to report our progress and conclusions with California Department of Fish and Game and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
As we discussed, enclosed are proposed conditions of approval for both the City of Carlsbad's LCPA and our Aviara phase 111 Application. The LCPA changes include revised master plan pages 135, 136, 138, 155, 156 and 158. The City of Carlsbad has
reviewed and approved the revisions. Please note that the City Park is not a part of the
CDP application, and though changes to the Park Plan would require a LCP amendment
by the City, it is our recommendation that the Park habitat issue be bifurcated from the current package of LCPA and dealt with separately at a future date when the City processes a specific plan.
I have calls into the Resource Agencies to inquire as to the status of their letters of
approval.
If you should have any questions, or need additional information, please d.
Sincerely,
D. L. Ciemens Vice President/General Manager
