TO INTERESTED PARTIES:
Please be advised that :he City of Carlsbad is considering map and text amendment
to the East Batiquitos LagoodHunt Properties segment of its Local Coastal Program (LCP)
as summarized below. The proposed amendment was submitted by a project applicant and
is presently under review. This notice hereby opens a six-week review period after which
the City Council will consider all comments and act on the proposed amendment. The City
Council LCP Amendment hearing is expected to take place in February 1994, and will be
duly noticed.
PROPOSED LCP AMENDMENT SUMMARY
GREEN VALLEY MA!YI'ER PLAN - CARLSBAD PARTNERS - LCPA 93-06
An amendment to the East Batiquitos Lagoon/Hunt Properties Land Use Map for
property located on the south side of La Costa Avenue west of its intersection with El
Camino Real. The amendment is to change 281.2 acres of Community
Commercial/Office/Residential Medium High to 56.2 acres of Extensive Regional Retail
(RRE); 204.1 acres of Open Space (OS); 17.9 acres of Residential Medium High (RMH);
and 3.0 acres of Neighborhood Commercial (N).
