NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad will
hold a public hearing at the Council Chambers, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive, Carlsbad,
California, at 6:OO p.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 1997, to consider a request for
approval of amendments to affordable housing provisions of the zoning code and
affordable housing policies of the local coastal program land use plans to accept
modifications made by the California Coastal Commission on property located Citywide
in the City of Carlsbad.
Those persons wishing to speak on this proposal are cordially invited to attend the
public hearing. Copies of the staff report will be available on and after January 30,
1997. If you have any questions, please call Chris DeCerbo in the Planning
Department at (61 9) 438-1 161, extension 4445.
If you challenge the Zone Code Amendments and/or Local Coastal Program
Amendments in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone
else raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence
delivered to the City of Carlsbad at or prior to the public hearing.
