In accordance with our discussion, Kelly Land Company hereby waives the required 49-day Coastal
Commission appeal period for the subject pennit. Kelly Land Company is waiving this appeal period as it is
anticipated that the appeal will be unnecessary upon approval of the City of Carlsbad’s Local Coastal
Program Amendment.
As we discussed, it is extremely important that the City ofcarlsbad’s Local Coastal Program Amendment be processed for the August Coastal Commission Hearing. To facilitate BillPander’s processity, supplemental
Kelly Ranch project materials are being delivered to your office. We would like to arrange an “all hands”
meeting to discuss the LCPA and the schedule.
