Comments: I asked Adrian Landers, Project Planner at the City, if the patio overheads are allowed within the 20' structure setback from
Ambrosia Lane.
Her interpretation was that the 20' setback was intended as a
building setback, and an overhead would probably be allowed within this area provided it was not excessive. As an example, an overhead
with posts located a maximum of 10 ' into the 20' setback and IS or 18' wide alang the back face of the building would be allowed.
She stated that the overheads must conform to the trellis setbacks
described in the approved plannlng documents for the project, and
that she recalls that a detail was added to one of the drawlngs to cover this. 1 do not have a complete set of the approved plans, Could you check the civil submittals to locate the overhead dlagrarn?
