Site check on 12/22/10 revealed no issues. Review of project's conditions of approval
also reveals no compliance issues.
I contacted Maria Callander, IT Manager at the Safety Center, to learn of any issues.
Maria, who is very familiar with the Sprint site, expressed concerns regarding Sprint's
requests to access to the building's computer and phone rooms to troubleshoot Sprint
problems. As she noted in the June 2010 review, Sprint is demanding when making
requests to see Safety Center facilities to troubleshoot Sprint's equipment. Requests
need to be made with courtesy and mindful of Safety Center security restrictions. This
concern has been shared with Joe Garuba, city property manager, and will be shared
with Sprint.

With the next extension request for this facility in 2011, it is reasonable that Planning
will request improved screening for at least some of the antennas. Presently, panel
antennas are mounted on the building exterior and three of them are somewhat visible
from Orion Circle.
