The City has revised the Conditional Use Permit regulations to create a Minor Conditional Use Permit that is acted on by the Planning Director. In order to continue operating this conditional use, approval of a Minor Conditional Use Permit is required. Should you, the property owner, wish to continue this conditional use, you will need to submit a complete application (applications and forms may be obtained at http://www.carlsbadca.gov/services/departments/planninR/Pages/applications.aspx or our front counter) consisting of the following; > Land Use Application; > Completed Disclosure Statement; > Development Permits form; > A check in the amount of all application fees; > One complete set of plans (may be copies of those already approved). Once we receive and review your application, we may request more information to complete the application. Submit the required documents and fees to: City of Carlsbad Planning Division 1635 Faraday Avenue Carlsbad, CA 92008 Your request for a Minor Conditional Use Permit must be submitted before the permit expiration date of March 4, 2012; otherwise the permit will be considered invalid and to continue operating, you will be required to submit an application for a new Minor Conditional Use Permit, along with a check for all fees associated with initiating a new permit. Please be advised that in the event your permit expires and you subsequently apply for a new permit, the application would again be subject to the full discretionary review process under the authority of the Planning Director. This means the application may be approved, approved with conditions, or denied based on the review process and findings of the Planning Director.
