I y, I i i' Ifvj DATE STAMP APPLICATION RECEIVED RECEIVED BY: P-1 PageZora Revlaed 03/17 RAC PRECEPT WIRELESS CONSULTANTS DETAILED PROJECT DESCRIPTION FOR SPRINT'S SITE LOCATED AT 6450 CARLSBAD BLVD Sprint is not proposing any modifications at this facility. The Land Use Review application is strictly for extension of the existing CUP (MCUP08-10). Sprints existing facility consists of panel antennas installed behind the parapet of the existing building. The antennas and supporting radio/electrical equipment are all screened from view. The existing facility at the subject location is unmanned, has no impact on circulation systems, and generates no noise, odor, smoke, or any other adverse impacts to adjacent land uses. The facility allows commuters and residents within the coverage area wireless access to the rapidly expanding communications infrastructure by providing speedy voice, data and video transmission services not currently available by wireless networks. The existing antennas and transmission equipment will not result in any material changes to the character of the local community. This wireless telecommunications facility will continue to operate in full compliance with all state and federal regulations including the Telecommunications Act of 1996. Sprint formally asks that the city extend the exiting CUP so that they can continue to provide the following services to the surrounding community: • High-speed LTE access for voice, data and video. • Enhanced communications services throughout the community. • Emergency 911 access.
