SUBJECT: La Costa Annexation Alignment
The attached letter represents an intention to apply for
annexation to the City from the Carrillo Ranch ownership.
They have indicated that planning studies for the property
will begin soon, thus preparing for a pre-annexation re-
zoning and master plan application. This particular align-
ment appears to be the best route to pursue.

Re: Proposed Annexation of Carrillo Ranch
and Thibodo Ranch to City of Carlsbad
This is to inform you that Carrillo Rancho Partnership
(consisting of approximately 853 acres) and Thibodo Rancho Partnership
(consisting of 500 acres more or less) intend to file applications to
be annexed to the City of Carlsbad, and desire the forms applicable
for such application.
Maps of the properties owned by the two partnerships are
enclosed.
