Re: Carrillo Ranch Circulation Study
Dear Bob:
Some of the major commitments we need from the City up
front on this redesign are:
1 Is the alignment of Melrose (vertical and horizontal)
acceptable to the City, and will this avoid any delays
while the Regional Traffic Study is being completed?
The intersection spacing is to City standards. Do
they have any reservations about the design of inter-
sections on the major streets?
Will a brief study by Wes Pringle be sufficient to add
to our current EIR to avoid another public review and
redraft of EIR.
Do they have any problems with the 7.5+% grade on
Melrose on the southern end of property? The standard
5. Palomar Airport Road. Do they want it moved? I've
talked with Don Woodward today and he said all the
clients are willing to move it to the north boundary.
I would appreciate hearing from you as soon as possible on
this matter.
