Dear Mr. Goff:
On February 24, 1981 the City Council approved an increase in
the contract for the Rancho Carrillo EIR. The amount of the
increase was $6,650. DAON deposited $6,000 on April 1, 1981.
Therefore, $650 is still outstanding and should be deposited
in the City of Carlsbad trust account number 65-886-0519 by
October 15, 1981.
Also, due to substantial revisions in the EIR resulting from
changes in the Master Plan, the EIR consultant has requested a
second contract increase of $11,600. Staff believes the
increase is justified and has tentatively scheduled the item
for the City Council meeting of October 20. If you have any
