We are about to enter into conversations with the City of Carlsbad concerning revisions of the La Costa land part of the City of Carlsbad general plan. I would appreciate it if you would send a letter directly to the Planning Director of the City of Carlsbad indicating that after con- siderable study that your district has concluded with La Costa that three (3) sites are what is required and that others may be deleted. The three sites, of course, are the Levante Street site, one located somewhere between the Ponderosa Project and our Spanish Village Project, and one located somewhere east of Rancho Sante Fe Road. You understand that the San Dieguito General Plan for which you wrote a letter to the County Planning Department is not binding for the City of Carlsbad. Thus, it is necessary for us to work with the City of Carlsbad in this regard.. Sincerely, LA dOSIA LAND COMPANY Fred J. Morey FJM/eem
