Project Description:Determination that proposed architectural design satisfies the intent of Condition
No. 30 of Planning Commission Resolution No. 2550 for Custom Lots 1-8, 235-
241 and 88-100 of Alga Hills subdivision.
This is to advise that the City of Carlsbad has approved the above described project on June 15, 1994 and
has made the following determinations regarding the above described project.
1. The project will not have a significant effect on the environment.
2. This project was reviewed previously and a Negative Declaration was prepared pursuant to the
provisions of CEQA.
3. Mitigation measures were not made a condition of the approval of the project.
4. A statement of Overriding Considerations was not adopted for this project
5. Findings were not made pursuant to the provisions of CEQA.
This is to certify that the final Negative Declaration with comments and responses and record of project
approval are available to the General Public at THE CITY OF CARLSBAD.

COURTESY NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of
Carlsbad will hold a hearing at the Council Chambers, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive,
Carlsbad, California, at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 1994, to consider a
Determination that the proposed architectural design satisfies the intent of Condition No.
30 of Planning Commission Resolution No. 2550 for Lots 1 - 8, 235 - 241, and 88 -100 of
the Alga Hills Subdivision (CT 84-41) on property generally located along the eastern
project boundary on Via Ostiones and along the western project boundary on Via Candrejo
and more particularly described as:
Map 12325, Carlsbad Tract 84-41.
Those persons wishing to speak on this proposal are cordially invited to attend the hearing.
Copies of the staff report will be available on and after June 9, 1994. If you have any
questions, please call Anne Hysong in the Planning Department at (619) 438-1161, ext.
4477.
If you challenge the Planning Commission Determination in court, you may be limited to
raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the hearing described in this
courtesy notice or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Carlsbad at or prior
to the hearing.
