NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to you, because your interest may be affected, that the
Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad will hold a public hearing at the Council
Chambers, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive, Carlsbad, California, at 6:00 p.m. on
Wednesday, May 15, 1996, to consider a request for approval of a one year extension
for the sales pavilion at The Ranch subdivision (CT 89-18) on property generally located
at the southeasterly corner of the city adjacent to the City of Encinitas and more
particularly described as:
Portions of lots 8, 9, and 15 of the subdivision of Rancho Las Encinitas in
the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, according
to Map thereof No 848, filed in the office of the County Recorder of San
Diego County, June 27, 1898.
Those persons wishing to speak on this proposal are cordially invited to attend the public
hearing. Copies of the staff report will be available on and after May 9, 1996. If you
have any questions, please call Christer Westman in the Planning Department at (619)
438-1161, ext. 4448.
The time within which you may judicially challenge this Planning Commission
Determination, if approved, is established by state law and/or city ordinance, and is very
short. If you challenge the Planning Commission Determination in court, you may be
limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing
described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Carlsbad
