We have inspected the grading for Lots ~7~1 Z or Phase
of the above mentioned project. In addition, we have received rough 'grading
certification from t1.q7e_ &S14D91e!~VV) th Soils Engineer,
dated and from
the Supervision Grading Engineer, clat ed and are satisfied
that the rough grading has been completed in accordance w ith City Standards.
Based on these certifications and our observation, we take no exception to the
issuance of a building permit for Lots 2V or Phase 21 of
project &11401 Oat ~*V from a grading
standpoint. This release, however, is not intended to certify the project from
other engineering concerns including site development, water' or sewer availa-
bility., or final grading.
We will need to be advised prior to the issuance,of a .Certificate of Occupancy,
so that we can verify that final grading and landscaping has been completed
in accordance with the approved plan's for the project.

of the project described below have already been considered in
conjunction with previously certified environmental~ documents and,
therefore, no additional environmental review will be required -and a
notice, of determination will be filed.

mile 'east. of El Camino Real.
Project,Description:' Specific Plan for, 187 acre approved tentative
and final map for industrial uses. Specific Plan will address
development standards and is required because the property is located
within the airport influence area.,
Justification'-for this determination is on file in the Planning
Department; 2075 Las'Palmas Drive, Carlsbad, CA. Comments from the
public are invited'. Please submit comments in writing to the Planning
Department within ten (10) days of date of .publication.
