HomeMy WebLinkAboutPIP 87-03; Madison Square Dev II; Planned Industrial Permit (PIP) (5)2075 LAS PALMAS DRIVE CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA 92009-4859 (619) 438-1161 PLANNING DEPARTMENT April 4, 1988 Dennis Trunnell Madison Square Partnership 4223 Ponderosa Avenue, Suite A San Diego, California 92123 RE: PIP 87-3, PAI0MA.R OAKS Dear Mr. Trunnell: With reference to our conversation this morning, I have checked with Pecoff Brothers who specialize in seed mixes for this area .and APPROVE the revised seed mix quantities required for the landslide slope on the above project, as follows: Festuca Megalura 15 lbs/acre Encilla Californica 8 lbs/acre Mimulus Puniceus 5 lbs/acre Artemisia Californica 4 lbs/acre This is a lighter seeding of Festuca than was called for on the approved plan and will allow sufficient light to reach the slower-germinating perennial seeds and ensure coverage with the permanent perennial. This approved seed mix replaces the mix called out on Exhibit llBlr landscape restoration plan, as EIA mitigation measures for the above project.
