SUBJECT PIP 87-6/2793 LOKER AVENUE - EL FUERTE BUSINESS PARK
Dear Jim:
Per your request, we have reviewed your proposed revision to the subject Planned
Industrial Permit for the subject project. The following Engineering concerns have been
identified:
1. The Engineering Department prefers the present amended design. The original
design would not allow for adequate circulation. While end loading, forty (40) foot
trucks would block the aisle. This original design was approved prior to adopting
present loading and circulation policies.
A modification of the original design could be supported. Grade level loading can
be accommodated by using side loading instead of end loading. This would
provide additional parking spaces as compared to the present design but would
be approximately seven spaces short of the original design (see attached
checkprint).
Any change to the project will require a formal PIP amendment. If you have any
questions regarding the above, please call me at 438-1 161, ext. 4456, or Jim Davis in the
Engineering Department at ext. 4500.
