The following Engineering concerns have been identified: 1. The Engineering Department prefers the present amended design. The original design would not allow for adequate circulation. While end loading, forty (40) foot trucks would block the aisle. This original design was approved prior to adopting present loading and circulation policies. A modification of the original design could be supported. Grade level loading can be accommodated by using side loading instead of end loading. This would provide additional parking spaces as compared to the present design but would be approximately seven spaces short of the original design (see attached checkprint). Any change to the project will require a formal PIP amendment.
