PROJECT CONDITIONS FOR PLANNED INDUSTRIAL PERMIT 87-7
With regards to our recent communications, this letter will serve to clarify
certain issues and conditions regarding your project. The City Engineer
has agreed to your request for relief from Condition No. 26 of your approval
which requires construction of the median improvements prior. to occupancy
of your expansion. We understand that the median improvements must
be made in connection with the widening of Palomar Airport Road by Centre
Development. Since this work will not be undertaken during the course
of your expansion, we will drop the requirement that the work be completed
before occupancy and require that you enter into a secured agreement
for the median work with a two-year time limit. We have attached the
required development agreement and security forms for your execution.
The valuation of the improvements has been set at $43,500. This' figure
has been prepared using the City's most recent bonding price sheet and includes some landscaping, irrigation, site preparation and traffic control
costs not included in your engineer's estimate.
As for the grading stockpile/disposal site, our staff has determined a
grading permit is not required provided the dirt is spread evenly over
the disposal area, the depth of fill is kept below 3 feet and drainage and
erosion control are adequately handled. Please have your contractor contact
the Engineering Inspection Division to notify them when the hauling
operations will begin.
