Box 82208 San Diego, CA 92138 RE: PIP 87-7, HUGHES INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS Dear Mr. Kinoshita: We have reviewed the landscape plan for the above project, and find that some modification is needed to conform to the conditions of the PIP. The planting area alongside the driveway on the southeastern property line contains some mature coral trees. This area is striped for parking in the revised parking plan, and more trees need to be added to provide a visual barrier. The conceptual plan showed poplars along this property line spaced at 20' O.C. but the landscape plan shows no new planting. As there are mature coral trees there now, we suggest that the planting is augmented with additional coral trees to blend with the existing planted areas in the parking lot. Please send three (3) copies of revised plans reflecting these changes. If you have any questions, please call me at 438-1161.
