The following are reasons this line should be upsized: New intensity curves, which develop approximately 30 percent more run off than the old intensity curves. Length and flatness of the proposed storm drain to serve the site. Adverse angle of turn to put the proposed storm drain into the existing storm drain. Clyde indicated that the City does not want their street torn up. He wants us to connect to the existing line outside the street. He said the City would allow pressure flow within the 18-inch pipe even to the point of water backing up on site and into the parking rc Q areas on site. Clyde indicated that we were to show connection to the storm drain system outside the street, and add a note to the Planned Industrial Permit, Exhibit D, indicating that the final connection point to be decided during final plan check. I will return a corrected copy to Clyde and Lance as soon as possible so that they can finish the Conditions of Approval for this Planned Industrial Permit. Lance apologized for the length of time involved in producing Conditions of Approval for this Planned Industrial Permit. He cited the truck parking issue that forced the City to make a City- wide policy decision. Lance could not provide us with a rough draft copy of the Conditions of Approval. He indicated that he did not think there would be any unusual conditions, and he hoped to have the conditions in final copy by Friday, March 3, 1989. He will fax copies to The Lomas Group, Krommenhock McKeown, and Rick Engineering. ED/ss. 001
