Northwest corner of Corte Del Cedro/Corte De La Pina-Lot 6 of
Carlsbad Tract No. 79-1 4, APN 21 3-070-06.
Locate driveway within 10 feet (1.5 feet) of the catch basin on
Corte del Cedro. (Engineering Standard Page 35(4)(E))
The driveway is located at the approved access point to the
project. The previously graded pad has 2:l slopes on two sides,
with the exception of the driveway location, and existing structures
on the remaining two. The curb inlet is located too close to the
property line to allow a minimum size driveway (24’) to meet
required distance from the property line and the catch basin.
Approved
Due to the access constraints, the driveway must be located at this
location. To protect the catch basin, a G-17 Alley Apron will be
used rather than the standard (G-14) concrete driveway. A five foot
radius will allow smooth entry and exit. The beginning of the
radius will be located a minimum 1.5 feet from the curb inlet.
