A preliminary review of your project was conducted on June 19, 1997. Listed below are the
issues raised by staff. Please note that the purpose of a preliminary review is to provide you
with direction and comments on the overall concept of your project. The preliminary review
does not represent an in-depth analvsis of your proiect. Additional issues of concern
mav be raised after Your application is submitted and processed for a more specific and
detailed review.
Planning:
1. The parking proposed in front of four of the existing loading area doors will be permitted
provided that in the interior of the building the doors are prevented from being used by
constructing a drywalled wall in front of each door where parking will be stripped.
2. All required parking must be provided on the project’s lot. Parking requirements will be
calculated using the rates established for the different use types as listed in the City’s
Zoning Ordinance. The maximum amount of compact car parking that can be used is
25 percent.
3. A written request for an amendment with exhibits depicting the proposed changes must
be submitted for Planned Industrial Permit 93-1 as required by Zoning Ordinance
Section 21 34.1 IO. The proposed amendment must be approved by the Planning
Director prior to the issuance of building permits. The proposed amendment would be
deemed to be minor in nature.
