Dear Jeff:
Thank you very much for allowing us to review the above referenced Planned Industrial Permit applications.
Both projects will be impacted by noise due to their proximity to
the airport. As a result, the County of San Diego, as owner and
operator of McClellan-Palomar Airport, requests that Avigation
Easements be executed prior to issuing a permit.
In addition to the avigation easements, we request that the
proposed project adhere to Code of Federal Regulations, Part 77,
Obstructions, and maintain proper height restrictions in order to avoid interfering with navigable airspace.
Finally, any night lighting requirements, especially in the case of the Callaway Project, should not interfere with the safe operation of the airport and Air Traffic Control. We would appreciate it if the applicants would submit lighting plans and specifications for our review.
