Dear Jeff:
SANDAG staff has reviewed the proposed golf test facility on Dryden Place. The
SANDAG Board of Directors, serving as the region’s Airport Land Use Commission, have
not reviewed the following comment.
The proposed site is between the 65 and 70 Community Noise Equivalent Level and within
the western flight activity zone. The proposed golf test facility is compatible with the
Palomar-McClellan Comprehensive Land Use Plan if the City of Carlsbad and the property
owner agree to an avigation easement.
