REVIEW OF CALLOWAY GOLF TEST FACILITY - WEATHER TOWER
The reduced site plan and drawing of the weather tower structure proposed for the Calloway
Golf Test Facility have been received and reviewed by McClellan - Palomar Airport.
As always obstructions in or near the approacWdeparture paths of an airport are highly
discouraged. At a meeting on December 13, 1996 the possible results of a weather tower type
structure installation were reviewed with Calloway representatives.
Due to the unique nature of the topography at the west end of the airport the proposed weather
tower does not violate any particular regulations of the airport or the FAA - and is acceptable,
with the above considerations included. If we can provide any additional information please
