SUBJECT: Knorr’s Beeswax Development Proposal
Dear Jeff:
SANDAG staff has reviewed the Knorr’s Beeswax development proposal. The following
comment has not been reviewed by the SANDAG Board of Directors serving as the
region’s Airport Land Use Commission.
The proposed site is within the 60-65 CNEL (community noise equivalent level) for
McClellan-Palomar airport. The proposed use, manufacturing and warehouse, is
compatible with the McClellan-Palomar Comprehensive Land Use Plan if the property
owner agrees to an avigation easement with the City of Carlsbad.
