SUBJECT PIP 95-05 - DAILY INDUSTRIAL BUILDING
Thank you for applying for Land Use Permits in the City of Carlsbad. The Planning
Department has reviewed your Planned Industrial Permit, application no. PIP 95-05, as
to its completeness for processing.
The items requested from you earlier to make your Planned Industrial Permit, application no. PIP 95-05, complete have been received and reviewed by the Planning Department.
It has been determined that the application is now complete for processing. Although
the initial processing of your application may have already begun, the technical
acceptance date is acknowledged by the date of this communication.
Please note that although the application is now considered complete, there may be
issues that could be discovered during project review and/or environmental review. Any
issues should be resolved prior to scheduling the project for public hearing. In addition,
the City may request, in the course of processing the application, that you clarify,
amplify, correct, or otherwise, supplement the basic information required for the
application.

ISSUES OF CONCERN
PLANNING:
1. On Sheet A-1 (under "Area Summaries - Parking Required") the manufacturing
floor area is shown as 6250 sf. This should be corrected to 6520 sf. (The
calculation is correct, but the numbers are transposed.)
2. The total currently-required employee eating area is 1481 sf. The plans show only
1439 sf provided. Please provide additional eating area to meet the requirements
for the currently proposed use area. Also, please show the required future eating
area.
3. Staff notes that revision dates are still not being added to the plans submitted.
Please put revision .dates on all sheets in your next submittal. This information
makes the processing of the plans much easier. Thanks for your assistance in
this matter.
