PRELIMINARY REVIEW
Engineering Department staff have conducted a preliminary review of the above referenced
project. Prior to formal application submittal, the following items must be addressed:
1. The proposed loading bay located at the northeast corner of the building
must be able to function utilizing semi-trailer turning radii. A Ca1tran.s 407C
turning template with a 50 ft. turning radius will be required as a minimum; a
Caltrans 407D with a 60 ft. turning radius is, however, preferred.
2. Please provide a profile for Camino Vida Roble (CVR) from the easterly
proposed driveway through the crest vertical curve west of Kellogg Avenue.
Indicate both proposed driveways, the CVR/Kellogg Ave. intersection and the
sight distances for the driveways.
3. Please be advised that a grading permit will be required for this proposed
project.
Please inform the applicant that this preliminary review does not constitute a complete
review of the proposed project and that additional items of concern may be investigated at
the time of formal application submittal. A red lined check print is attached for the
applicants use in making the requested revisions.
