BOX 2432 SANTA ANA, CA. 92714 SEPTEMBER 27, 1996 Driveway Location on Loker Ave. East (PRE 96-40) On September 17th the City sent a letter to respond to a preliminary review (PRE 96- 40). In that letter we addressed items that could be issues with the proposed development as you presented. One of the items that we identified was the approved driveway locations. Subsequently, you asked us to review our position and see if an offset or different location could be approved. We have again reviewed our position and the proposed location that you have requested. We cannot support the proposed location and suggest that you consider our previous recommendation. The existing driveway on Loker Ave. East is across the street and south of this site, opposite of this existing driveway is an approved location which you could use as an offsite secondary access. You should discuss the specifics of construction and terms of easement with the property owner. Today after we discussed this issue you asked if you could have a second driveway on Sea Otter Place. I asked around and the answer is yes, provided that you line up with the existing driveway across the street.
