Dear Ms. Ann Hysong:
Industrial Developments International (IDI) is in the process of obtaining a grading
permit for the project stated above. At the present time, the landscape plans are not
approved. I am requesting the City of Carlsbad to issue the grading permit based on a
landscaping and irrigation cash deposit from ID1 to the City of Carlsbad.
To guarantee the City of Carlsbad that the landscaping and irrigation work will be
completed, ID1 will provide a cash deposit of $164,352.00 to the City of Carlsbad. The
City of Carlsbad will refund the cash deposit in its entirety upon landscape plan approval
and payment of landscape plan check and inspection fees. I hope this proposal meets
your satisfaction. Thank you in advance for your assistance regarding this matter.
