On behalf of the Newport National Corporation, Brian Paul and Associates respectfully submits a
Planned Industrial Permit application for Lot 8 at Carlsbad Airport Centre. The project will consist
of one three-story office buildings of 52,000 square feet with on grade parking for 208 cars. At
present, Newport National has a PUD (97-10) and a HDP (97-07) under review for this property.
We are submitting the following forms and fees as part of this new application package:

This application does not include additional copies of the above referenced materials since they
are the same as those submitted for Lot 11 / Building D. Nor does the application include a
Constraints Map and Noise Study. The decision not to include these items was based on the
assumption that the original EIA for Carlsbad Airport Centre addressed these issues. In addition,
we believe our project conforms to design standards set forth in the Specific Plan.
