Deficiency Item: P e n d i n g 02 Hydrants Additional on-site public water mains and fire hydrants are required. Proposed change for Industrial and multi family: Provide additional public fire hydrants at intervals of 300 feet along public streets and private driveways. Hydrants should be located at street intersections when possible, but should be n 100 feet from terminus of a street or driveway. te 1 Deficiency Item: P e n d i n g 03 Site Plan/Hydrants Applicant shall submit a site plan to the Fire Department for approval, which depicts location of required, proposed and existing public water mains and fire hydrants. The plan should include off-site fire hydrants within 200 feet of the project. Deficiency Item: P e n d i n g 04 Site plan/access Applicant shall submit a site plan depicting emergency access routes, driveways and traffic circulation for Fire Department approval. I Deficiency Item: P e n d i n g 05 Access during construction An all weather, unobstructed access road suitable for emergency service vehicles shall be provided and maintained during construction. When in the opinion of the Fire Chief, the access road has become unserviceable due to inclement weather or other reasons, he may, in the interest of public safety, require that construction operations cease until the condition is corrected. Proposed language All buildings having an aggregate floor area in excess of 10,000 square feet must be protected by automatic fire sprinkler systems. Plans and specifications must be approved by the fire department, and a permit obtained prior to installation. Proposed multifamily residential buildings must be protected by fire alarm systems. Plans and specifications must be approved, and a permit obtained prior to installation. Deficiency Item: P e n d i n g 11.
