Improvements to Palomar Airport Road and Yarrow Drive
Dear Jack McRoskey:
Pursuant to your recent letter dated 11-30-98 and following up to our meeting yesterday,
we will revise condition number 18 and also number 71-3. The condition for "Future
Improvement" is not necessary as the City is under construction for this frontage. The condition
for sidewalk on Yarrow Drive may have an easy solution.

The question regarding sidewalk improvements along Yarrow Drive was resolved today
by simple agreement thatif the contractor from the Palomar Airport project concurs, then the
additional sidewalk (along Yarrow Drive from Palomar Airport Road to the south west corner of
this project) can be constructed as part of the same right of way permit, in compliance with
Regional Standards and in conjunction with the City project. A separate drawing for sidewalk is
not necessary if constructed in conjunction with the adjacent project. The cost of sidewalk and
driveway reconstruction on Yarrow Drive as well as reconstruction of the driveway on Palomar
Airport Road will be paid by you directly to the contractor. We will require proof of this private
agreement and proof of payment . The median amount will be a separate cost and will be paid to the City as a reimbursement.
Per our discussion yesterday, Galen Peterson will calculate the 50% share of median

Palomar Airport Road Project, and I will wait to here from you regarding negotiation with the
contractor.
