SUBJECT: PIP 98-02(A) - COMPLIANCE WITH PALOMAR AIRPORT C.L.U.P.
PIP 98-02(A) - Carlsbad World Communications Center is enclosed for your review.
This project is a three-story office building and is approximately 70,775 square feet
in size, located on a 4.5 acre site. The project falls between the 60-65 CNEL noise
contours within the Palomar Airport influence area. The project is located south of
Palomar Airport Road and east of Yarrow Drive and is south of the Airport.
Your written comments concerning the project's conformance with Palomar
Airport's Comprehensive Land Use Plan, along with other factors that would assure
compatibility with airport operations, are appreciated. It would be helpful if
comments are received by July 10, 2000.
