Emergency Generator 6 16 1 El Camino Real (Building 2) Dear Mr. DeCerbo: his is to request that you review our preliminary request for a minor amendment to 47 to allow an emergency generator on the referenced site. We have recently entered a contract that requires our operation to have electrical power with an emergency back-up capacity. This new requirement has occurred after approval of the referenced PUD permit. f9r Please find attached preliminary sketches of the proposed generator location and enclosure. Basid on our understanding of City requirements, we believe that our proposal should meet the requirements and mitigate any concerns about the operation of the generator. Please note the following items; 1. The generator is located to be out of the setback areas. 2. We are proposing to reduce the parking by 4 spaces. The use for Building 2, however, inchtdes manufacturing and warehouse areas. Since the parking for this site has been provided at office space ratio (1 space per 250 sf.), we believe that we can reduce the parking spaces as shown and meet or exceed City requirements. be compatible with the buildings. 3.
