RE: PS Ol&La Costa Glen
Dear Mr. Kutz:
I have reviewed your sign program submittal for La Costa Glen and have the following
comments.
Most of the program looks fine. However, there are changes which must be made.
The proposed corner monument and landscape feature signs should be considered
separately and identified as "Comer Monument", "Main Entry", and "Secondary Entry"
as noted on the enclosed redlined copy of the program. The width of the text should be
dimensioned as well as the height.
The Green Valley Master Plan states that the length of the monument signs should not
be longer than twelve feet nor higher than 5' above adjacent street grade.
The monument sign proposed at the comer of El Camino Real and Calk Barcelona
must be removed from the program since the location is reserved in the Green Valley
Master Plan for the commercial center. A total of 322 sq. ft. of community identity
signage is. allowed for La Costa Glen and the commercial site completed.
Please make the revisions and resubmit the sign program for approval.
Sincerely,
CHRISTER WESTMAN, AlCP
