REVIEW FOR SIGN PERMITS
All plans submitted for sign permits/sign programs shall consist of a minimum of a site plan and
sign elevations containing the following information:
1. North arrow and scale.
2. Location of existing buildings or structures, parking areas, and vehicular access
points to the property.
3. Location of all existing and proposed signs for the property.
4. Distance to the property line(s) for all proposed freestanding signs.
5. Provide an elevation for all proposed signs which specifies the following:

Materials the sign(s) will be constructed of.

New revised signs for BAHIA TAN located at 1854 Matron Road, Carlsbad. # ,I 0 z
We propose to do the following
1) We will hook up sign to existing power there.Sign to be constructed and installed at
Bahia Tans sole cost and expense.
3) Transformer to be housed inside roof and will have its own disconnect switch.
4) All letters to be mounted with spacers 83’ fiom wall
5) We will man-e and iristaU one set ifihminatted channel letters to be 18” tall.
6) All letters to have red plex Gices, with red neon. Trim capping to be RED, outside
returns to be painted dark bronze.
7) Logo to be one 18” round disc to be done in the same colors as channel letters except
that the face will be white plex with translucent vinyl overlay. The palm tree to be green,
the water blue, the sun to be orange and red on a piece of white pkx
8) Letters to be mounted to wall by means of 4 screws per letter
9) Wall hia is 21 ’ tall x25’ long = 525sq.a.
2) All letters to be UL approved
Sign to be I8”M x152”long = 18.9sq.ft. (Just over 50% of store hntage)
