Birch St., Ste. 150 Newport Beach, CA 92660 RE: Review for Sign Permit PROJECT: Sheridan Estates APPLICATION NO.: PS 03-47 625 Tamarack Ave, Carlsbad Dear Craig: In reviewing your sign permit application/plans, our department noticed the following that needs to be addressed prior to approving the permit: I. The proposed sign exceeds the allowed maximum sign area. The plans state that the sign is a total of fifteen square feet. The maximum allowed sign area for this sign is twelve square feet. 2. The sign must be placed outside of the public right of way, which is eight (8) feet from the back of the curb face. Please submit to our office three sets of signkite plans with the necessary changes for review. If you have any questions, please contact me at 760-602-4625.
