RE: PS 04-42 - RUBY’S DINER
Dear Louis:
On March 15, 2004, you submitted a sign application for additional signage for Ruby’s
Diner located at 5630 Paseo Del Norte in Carlsbad, California. After reviewing the sign
program for the Carlsbad Company Stores, staff has determined that additional signage
for Ruby’s Diner is not able to be approved for the following reasons:

The location of the sign is not allowed per the sign program; and,
The total aggregate signage allowance for tenant allowance will be calculated at
1.5 x the combined total tenant linear frontage which will be exceeded with a third
sign at that location.
