elevations containing the following information:

Distance to the property line(s) for all proposed freestanding sign(s).
Provide an elevation for all proposed sign(s) which specifies the following:

B. Materials the sign(s) will be constructed of.
C. Source of Illumination.
D. Proposed sign copy.
APPLICANT MUST SUBMIT THREE (3) SETS OF SIGNKITE PLANS, A COMPLETED
APPLICATION FORM, AND THE APPLICATION FEE.

As the manager of the Carlsbad Business Park I hereby authorize you to deviate fiom the
normal sign criteria (see attached) for the above referenced location. The Landlord will
allow the height of the logo to be increased fiom 9 inches to a maximum of 12 inches,
and the height of the copy to be increased hm 6 inches to a maximum of 10 inches. All
other sign criteria remains in effect without exception, including, but not limited to the
placement of the sign which is to be in the dedicated sign band above the main entrance
of the tenant’s front door. If in the event the above deviation for the increased copy
and/or logo is too large to properly fit within said sign band the height and length of both
must be proportionately reduced so that the sign fits within the dedicated area.
