Dear Stuart: The Architectural Review Committee (ARC) of the Carlsbad Research Center (CRC) has reviewed the revised sign plans proposed for the Centerpoint building, located at 5901 Priestly Drive. The ARC has previously reviewed your proposed plans for three wall signs and a single monument sign on the property. The ARC's only concern at the time of the original review pertained to the external illumination of the monument sign. The revised plans adequately address this concern by removing the external illumination from the proposed design. Therefore the submitted plans are considered APPROVED. As reflected hi your letter dated 2 November 2006, you understand that additional ARC sign review will be needed once tenant sign needs are clarified. Please feel free to call me if you have any questions or require additional information. Sincerely, Seth Schulberg cc: A. Blackmore, C. Blackmore, f. Hageman, W. Beckman and S.
