Dear Ms. Sosa:
The Architectural Review Committee (ARC) of the Carlsbad Research Center (CRC) has
received your revised site plan for the Reef facility, located at 5935 Darvvan Court on Lot 57 of
the CRC. The revised plan depicts a new location for the monument sign which is consistent
with the CRC Design Guideline requirement that the sign set at least 20 feet back from the face
of curb on Darwin court. Given this modification, the proposed plans for a monument sign are
considered APPROVED. Once you have a sign permit from the city of Carlsbad, you are
authorized to install the proposed sign.
