Paseo Carlsbad retail building - Unit 114
PacTen Partners is the Development Manager for CPT/SC Title Holding Corp., the owner of the Paseo
Carlsbad project located at 5617 Paseo Del Norte in Carlsbad.
We have a lease with Elephant Walk Outdoor Footwear for Unit 114 that was executed on July 20,
2010. We have been working with this tenant and his consultants on the development of his
improvement plans which we understand have been submitted to the City for plan checking and permit.
This letter will serve as evidence that Elephant Walk Outdoor Footwear has authorization from
ownership to design, permit and install the tenant improvements for Unit 114.

Brianna,
A few comments on the submittai:
There are two (2) sign types that each tenant wiii be responsible for..Types 5 and 6. The sheets from the City approved signage program associated with the Elephant
Walk suite are attached.
Type 5: The size is within the maximum size allowed but you have located it above the entry door instead of the approved location. The first floor tenants main signage
wili actually be located on the vertical face ot the curved balcony...see attached sheet PL-1
Type 6: Your proposed copy shown is acceptable to be added to the blank sign provided by landlord.
Please revise and resubmit. Aiso note that once approved by landlord, Elephant Walk wiii need to submit to the City for approval and permit.
