D. Proposed sign copy.

for potential sight distance and visibility issues. Additional information must supplement
this application showing how the proposed signage will not encroach into the public right-

APPLICATIONS
The following example illustrates the information that is required for all pole, monument, and
freestanding sign permit applications. Prior to approval, all such proposed signs must be reviewed
for potential issues by the Transportation Department, which will not allow signs to be approved
over the counter. Additional time will be required for on-site inspection.

Relationship to Streets: Signs shall be designed and located so as not to interfere with the
unobstructed clear view of the public right-of-way and nearby traffic regulatory signs of any
pedestrian, bicyclist or motor vehicle driver.

I. Two (2) copies of the proposed Design Documents that indicate the location and specifications for the
proposed replacement signage.
2. A document entitled "Landlord Approval for Sign Design Documents".
3. A document entitled "Authorization and Consent Form".
After you have reviewed these documents, please complete the following:
I. Sign/date the documents;
2. Initial each page of the proposed Design Documents;
3. Return one copy of the Design Document and the Landlord Approval Document to Coast Sign at the
earliest possible date; and,
4. Keep the additional copy of the Design Documents for your files.
A copy of the signed landlord approval documents will be fumished to the permitting authority. Once the
permit(s) are obtained, should it be necessaty, a representative from Coast Sign will be contacting you about the
proposed installation schedule for the signage replacement.
As always, time is of the essence. We will provide a Fed Ex envelope and air bill for your convenience upon
request. We appreciate your assistance with regard to this sign conversion project.
