All plans submitted for sign permits/sign programs shall consist of a minimum of a site plan and
sign elevations containing the fo llowing information:
1. North arrow and scale
2. Location of existing buildings or structures. parking areas. and vehicular access points to the
property.
3. Location of all existing and proposed signs for the property.
4. Distance to the property line(s) for all proposed freestanding sign(s).
5. Provide an elevation for all proposed sign(s) which specifies the following:
A. Dimensions and area ror all existing and proposed sign(s).
B. Materials the sign(s) will be constructed of.
C. Source of Illumination.
D. Proposed sign copy.
APPLICANT MUST SUBMIT THR EE (3) SETS OF SIGN/SITE PLANS, A COMPLETED
APPLICATION FORM, AND THE APPLICATION FEE.
The application must be submitted prior to 4:00 p.m. Average processing time: 2 weeks

Thanks Bob. Need insurance certs from you and your GC in the coverages noted within the lease w/MERI Palomar Place, LLC,
2081 Faraday Avenue, Carlsbad, CA 92008 listed as additional insured. Your policy should have a specific endorsement for
course of construction during the build-out.
As for the sign submittal, I'm happy to conditionally approve based on the following as accepted by you and addressed within
your formal submission to the city for permit.
1. Ensure total square footage of each sign and the total for both is noted on the drawings. City will be checking for
compliance with the total allowance provided within the criteria.
2. West facia sign· raise to j-box on wall and as noted/dimensioned within the criteria.
3. Change all trim caps and metal returns to silver to match our galvanized coping and anodized aluminum storefront. NO
BRONZE. Both signs.
4. Elevation/mounting height of the east facia sign is to match that of the west
5. Veggie Grill's signage submission is attached as a reference/guide for height as well.
6. Note, the electrical for the west sign is in place and home-runs to the LL panel. Your add'I sign electrical is by you, and to
be daisy-chained to the west sign.
Looks great, can't wait to see them up and you in there!
