2. Location of existing buildings or structures, parking areas, and vehicular access points to the

. 4. Distance to the property line(s) for all proposed freestanding sign(s).
5. Provide an elevation for all proposed sign(s) which specifies the following:
A. Dimensions and area for all existing and proposed 3ign(s).
B. Materials the sign(s) will be constructed of.

The following example illustrates the information that is required for all pole, monument, and
freestanding sign permit applications. Prior to approval, all such proposed signs must be reviewed
for potential issues by the Transportation Department, which will not allow signs to be approved
over the counter. Additional time will be required for on-site inspection.

Relationship to Streets: Signs shall be designed and located so as not to interfere with the
unobstructed clear view of the public right-of-way and nearby traffic regulatory signs of any
pedestrian, bicyclist or motor vehicle driver.
Sight Distance: No sign or sign structure shall be placed or constructed so that it impairs the sight
distance requirements at any pubiic or private street intersection or driveway.

Dear Evelyn:
Please find attached Landlord's approval (with noted corrections) for the proposed signage package for the
above location pending City approval and Permitting. Prior to installation we will require an insurance
certificate naming PK I NORTH COUNTY PLAZA LP & Kimco Realty Corporatioii as Additional
Insured.
In addition to the centers Sign Qiteria. please adhere to the following:
1. No exterior wire raceways.
2. No exposed wiring or crossovers.
3. No silver or gold trim caps.
4. Include weep holes in letters for proper water drainage.
5^ Install letters leaving a nuniimim W gap between baclc ofle^and sign ifascia for proper
dirt/water drainage.
6. UL labels shall be placed out of view (preferably on top of letters).
7. Only one sign company decal allowed per sign.
8. Make sure prior sign damage is patched, repaired and painted to match.
9. Remove clips and brackets from prior tenant signage.
10. No window signage allowed without prior landlord approval (must be in writing).
11. Obtain City approval and sign permit before fabrication/installation.
12. Sign con^any to be reputable professional licensed contractor.
13. Submit sign company insurance certificate before commencing work.
