Prior to approval, all such proposed signs must be reviewed for potential issues by the Transportation Department, which will not allow signs to be approved over the counter. Per the first review response letter dated July 30, 2018, the first set of submitted plans showed a wall sign which logo/lettering height exceeded the allowable maximum height for a building of this size (the maximum allowable height is 24 inches, and the plans showed a height of 32 inches).
