We have completed a review of your application for a sign permit for Decom
Systems, Inc. The proposed sign contains some 24" high letters which exceed the
maximum vertical dimension of 20" as allowed by the applicable sign program.
Attached is a copy of the sign program which specifies the 20" letter height
limit. Also attached is a copy of a letter dated July 14, 1988 you wrote asking
le sign criteria be amended to allow illuminated identity signs. This
was denied. In that same letter you stated letter and logo size would to the sign criteria.
inspection on November 23, 1988 revealed that the proposed nonconforming was erected without the issuance of a sign permit. A time period of 15
days from the date of this letter will be granted for the sign to be
into conformance with the applicable sign criteria. Occupancy of the
builiing will be dependant upon the resolution of this signage issue. This
matter has been turned over to the Code Enforcement Officer who can be reached
' at 438-1161.
